Terms of use

The service

TallyRows is a web page that converts bank statement PDFs into spreadsheet and accounting file formats. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. Using the free features requires no account and no payment.

Your responsibility for the output

TallyRows checks converted rows against the balances printed on the statement and tells you when it cannot. It is still a tool, and statements vary. You are responsible for reviewing the output before relying on it, in particular any rows the page marks as unchecked or mismatched. TallyRows does not give accounting, tax or financial advice.

Plans

A plan (Starter, Business or Enterprise) unlocks Excel, QBO and OFX export up to the number of PDF pages a month stated on the pricing page. A page is counted the first time a statement is exported in a paid format in a calendar month; further exports of the same statement that month are not counted. Unused pages do not carry over. A plan is bought for a term of 1 month to 5 years, paid once in advance. It ends at the end of the term and does not renew; buying another term extends it. Access is delivered electronically as a plan key shown on screen and sent to the email address given at checkout; nothing is shipped. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any sales tax or VAT your country may charge. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to subscribe. A plan key is for your own use or your organisation's; reselling keys is not permitted.

Acceptable use

Only convert statements you are entitled to handle. Do not attempt to interfere with the site or misuse its delivery infrastructure.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We aim to keep it available and correct but do not guarantee it is free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows when. Changes apply to a plan from its next renewal or new term.

Privacy

Your statements

Statement files are opened and processed in your browser and are never transmitted to us or anyone else. The site is served with a Content-Security-Policy (connect-src 'none') that makes your browser block any network connection from the page. We cannot see, store or recover your statements.

What is stored in your browser

If you enter a plan key, it is kept in your browser's local storage, together with the count of pages used this month, so you need not paste it again. Clearing this site's data removes it. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising scripts.

Hosting

The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or use this data to identify you.

Purchases

When plans are on sale, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor, which collects the payment details you give it. We receive your email address, the plan, the amount and an order reference, and keep them to deliver the key, re-send it on request, manage renewals and cancellations, handle refunds, and meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell or share this information for marketing.

Contact and your rights

Refunds

• 14 days, any reason. Ask within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund, whether or not you used the plan. For terms longer than 12 months, after the first 14 days you can ask for a refund of the whole unused years remaining.
• No time limit if it never worked. If your statements could not be read at all, you can ask for a refund of the current period at any time.
• How. Email support@coiiectandsave.com with your order number or the email you bought with. Refunds go back to the original payment method; depending on your bank or card issuer they usually appear within 5–10 business days.
• A refund ends the plan; the key must not be used after it.
