Privacy
Is my statement uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is read inside your browser tab. The site's security policy forbids the page from making any network connection, which your browser enforces. Details and how to check it yourself are on How it works.
Do you keep anything?
Nothing about your statements, because nothing reaches us. If you enter a plan key, it is saved in your browser, along with how many pages you have used this month, so you don't have to paste it again; clear site data to remove it.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. Load the page once, then disconnect. Reading, checking and exporting all work without a connection.
Reading statements
My statement says “No transaction table found”.
TallyRows needs a header row with at least a date column and an amount or balance column, in English. If your statement has that and still fails, email us the bank name; a copy with personal details blacked out helps us add the layout.
It says the PDF has no text.
It is a scan or a photo. TallyRows does not do OCR. Download the statement from online banking again — banks provide text PDFs.
Some dates are grey.
Your bank prints the date only on the first transaction of each day. Grey dates were carried down from the row above. They are correct as long as the statement's order is.
The check found a mismatch. What now?
Click the flagged row: it is highlighted on the original page. Compare the figures, double-click the wrong cell and type the right value. The check re-runs immediately. If the tool misread a layout, please tell us so it can be fixed for everyone.
What are the lines under “weren't used as transactions”?
Text inside the table area that wasn't a transaction or a description — page footers, notices, totals. They are listed so that nothing disappears without you being able to see it.
Exports
How do I import the QBO file into QuickBooks?
QuickBooks Desktop: File → Utilities → Import → Web Connect Files. QuickBooks Online: Banking → Upload transactions, then choose the .qbo file and the account to add it to. Import a short test month first if the account already has transactions.
Which programs read OFX?
Quicken, Xero, Wave, Moneydance, GnuCash, Banktivity and most accounting and budgeting software with a “bank file” import.
Can I combine several statements?
Yes. Drop them together and choose “All merged”. Rows are sorted by date and each keeps the name of the statement it came from.
Plans and keys
I lost my key.
Use “Lost your key?” on the checkout page: every key bought with your email is sent again. Or email support@coiiectandsave.com with your order number.
My key says it didn't verify.
The key has to be pasted in full, from TR- to the last character. Copy it again from the email; line breaks are ignored.
